Treatment Techniques

Our evidence based care and broad spectrum suite of health & wellness chiropractic treatments

Active Release Technique – ART®

Active Release Technique – ART®, is a patented soft tissue massage technique that can quickly and permanently resolve issues caused by overuse of a muscle. Injuries such as tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, rotator cuff injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome and headaches can be treated effectively with this technique. Each session consists of an examination followed by treatment to properly address your individual issue. Leave it to the qualified professionals at The Chiropractic Office to provide you with effective pain relief from this state of the art technique.

Custom Orthotics

Did you know that the motion with which your feet hits the ground can impact not only your foot and legs, but also your hips, back and even your neck? Customized orthotics look like shoe insoles but are much more than that. Similar to how glasses help to correct your vision, customized orthotics are designed to align your foot and ankle in the best position to suit your body’s unique structure, thus reducing stress and strain on the body. At The Chiropractic Office, we take precise imprints of your feet using the latest technology to ensure that you get an orthotic that can keep up with you and provide you with all-motion comfort.

Laser Therapy

A form of alternative medicine, laser therapy applies low powered lasers to the body to treat certain ailments. It can prove to be an effective alternative to invasive surgery or medication, without the risk of significant side effects. Research has shown its effectiveness in treating many conditions such as muscle and tendon tears, fractures and post-surgical scarring.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body including its muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and so on. It is normally used in the healing and rehabilitation process to treat acute and chronic health conditions including sports injuries and ongoing pain. Massage Therapy should be administered by a registered and licensed practitioner. At The Chiropractic Office our onsite registered massage therapist is D. Thomas Clancy, a veteran in the field.

Medical & Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ideal method of therapy for treating chronic pain, inflammation and stress related conditions. It involves inserting very thin needles into certain points on the body to encourage pain relief and healing. Medical acupuncture is simply a modern variation of the ancient Chinese practice, where the technique combines common principles of evidence-based medicine and other knowledge areas including the traditional Chinese beliefs of ‘yin’, ‘yang’ and energy ‘qi’. Sit back, relax and let The Chiropractic Office be your provider of certified acupuncture services.
