Evgeny Dizik, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Biography

Eugeny (Evgeny), has over 10 year of clinical experience as a manual therapist.

He studied his Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in leading Israeli medical faculties. Although his primary medical training was in Physiotherapy, once he started practicing, he soon became interested in the concepts of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. He studied a European program for medical practitioners NUMSS (Spain), and upon his arrival in Toronto he also participated in a Bridge Program for Osteopathic Manual Practitioners at “National Academy of Osteopathy”.

Evgeny also conducted research Osteopathic Manual Therapy and submitted two theses:

1. “The asymmetric activation of Mastication musculature and its’ effect on cervical range of motion” and

2. “Lateral Epycondylalgia – the osteopathic approach”.

Before coming to Canada, he also ran a very successful clinic that focused on working with athletes as well as the senior population.

We are excited to welcome Evgeny to the team with his wealth of experience and diverse education.

Evgeny currently is a registered member of an osteopathic association, “The college of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners in Ontario (COMPO)”.
